Winter Wonderland 2015 | Photo Diary
Hello, everyone. Yesterday, my friends and I
went to Winter Wonderland. It's a great place to experience British Christmas.
The lights were alluring to the eyes; the food, well, I don't know about the
food because I didn't have that much appetite; the drinks, well, I guess they
were nice. I only had water!
Nonetheless, there are varieties of boot at
market where people sell churos, waffles, pancakes, and pretzels- most of the
festive foods where available there. Chips, burgers, & sausages where also
available. The drinks ranges from mulled wine, beer, hot chocolate and other
festive drinks. Basically, mostly Christmas drinks and food is available there.
It is Winter Wonderland, what can you say?
There are also different entertainments, rides
and you feel very festive with the different Christmas songs that are played on
different areas. My friends and I had dinner at this cabin where they
sell, fish & chips, and other stuff. I can’t remember what it’s
called. We then searched for churros. We
also planned to go on the rides but we ended up not going because we were too
full and we didn’t want to vomit while on the ride! Can you imagine that?
We bumped in to a lot of people and some of them
where form the other parts of the globe. But it was a good day! I enjoyed it.

Swan Lake: The Birmingham Royal Ballet

Hello, everyone! Hope you're all doing well.
It's been a week since I went to watch Swan Lake. The Birmingham Royal Ballet
performed it at The Grand Opera House in Belfast. I can't tell you who the casts are because I don't have the book
with me but I will tell you when I do.
I booked the ticket at the last minute because I
didn't know about it. My friend Kaye posted it on Facebook and since I was
going home (Northern Ireland) for the weekend, I thought, "I might as well
watch it." I adore ballet and was I’ve only seen performance on the
TV.
I invited my cousin to watch it but he wasn't
available so, I asked my brother to go with me. He wasn't keen about and but I
dragged him with me! Haha. He described ballet as "hopping like
rabbits."
It was a great night! It started at 7:30 pm and
finished at around 10:30pm.
I said
on my social media post "[Act IV The lakeside] The music and the costumes
used were impeccable. I love how they wore 19th Century Royal fashion on Acts 1
and 3 as their costumes. Everything was ingeniously designed; the gems and
diamonds on their crowns twinkled like stars in the night sky, the gowns and
capes draped on the floor seamlessly, the detailed sequins gleamed brightly
and, the well-tailored tutus bloomed fully."
It allured my eyes and my ears. The art, the music, the beauty,
and the feelings that were portrayed put me in awe. It was a memorable night!
I believe that is carrot cake and Venti Honey and Almond Hot Chocolate. |

LUSH HAUL | Review
Hello, everyone! I was going to post this haul last week but I decided to wait another week so I can talk more about what I think of the products that I purchased.
I got these products for 3 weeks now and I have to say, I'm amazed by these.
So, the products that I purchased are:
For more information about these products, please click the hyperlinks above. You can also shop it from there.
I love LUSH Cosmetics because they fight against animal testing and their products are handmade. I've been to two LUSH outlets and all their staff is excellent and helpful. No, this is not a sponsored post and the reviews that I will be saying later in this post are my own.
The first thing that I am going to talk about is the Tea Tree Water. I got the 250g and I can't even remember how much this one cost. It's probably around £14+. This product is great and I've been using it every night since I got it. This claims to help keep away the spots because it is an "antibacterial, antifungal and antimicrobial". It does the job! My skin has been clear since I started using it.
The next product that I'm going to talk about is the Eau Roma Water. I only got the 100g one and this is only £4.50. The scent of this one is better than the Tea Tree one because this contains rose and lavender water. I love this product as well and I spritz this on my face every morning before applying my moisturiser. I usually leave it to dry by itself but when I'm in a rush, I spritz the product on the cotton pad and apply it on my face. It leaves my skin feeling refreshed!
Cup O' Coffee |
Cup O'Coffee is probably the best exfoliating mask that I've ever used. It is combined with roasted cocoa extract, vetivert and coriander oil. This is only £12.25 (350g) I use it both on my face and body. I started using this over the summer. When I first used it on my face, I didn't really like it because the smell was too strong so mainly used it on my body. I still have half of the tub at home. Now that I'm in Uni, I repurchased it because I love it that much. I also started using it on my face now and my skin is loving it. It has coffee grounds which is really good for exfoliating. I use it 2-3 times a week on both my face and body. The bad thing about this product is that it leaves the shower and sink dirty!
Lastly, the Coalface. This soap is amazing! I don't use it everyday because it leaves my face dry after washing my face (it claims to absorb oil, duh). I don't really give a big fuss about it because I use moisturiser anyway. Plus, it is gentle on my skin. I probably just use this 2-4 times a week. You can also use it on your body, too. I haven't tried using it on my body but I will at some point. This one has shimmery stuff in it which I think is cute. It doesn't have the candy scent that I want in soap but the result is good so I can't complain anything about it.
What is your favourite LUSH product? Let me know in the comment section below. :)
TAKE CARE
xoxo,
Xyza
